Timeline by John Emil is a beautiful album of John's songs and production music from over the last 30 years. There are live takes of John performing live in small to large clubs in the UK and the decades of John's progression as a composer and producer. This album echos the Mississippi delta blues of the deep south and Johns creative take of combining songwriting with intricate slide playing using the Dobro and Hawaiian lap guitar. A lovely balance of songs and instrumental music. All instruments on the album are played by John except for the harmonica on track 11.
